Texas Recovery Housing Seminar for EMPG-funded Jurisdictions

TDEM in coordination with the Texas General Land Office has developed this seminar for jurisdictions being able to meet the FY-2019 EMPG requirement to exercise the Housing Core Capability. Jurisdictions can access and conduct the specifically developed Recovery Housing Seminar.

In order to receive the 2019 housing exercise credit, please conduct this seminar locally. Invite local government representatives, housing authorities, volunteer agencies and any other group involved in recovery housing. This will vary from community to community.

Conduct the seminar and hold a follow-up discussion. We created a Seminar Summary Report template that can be used to guide the discussion. Fill in the report and submit it to the Exercise Unit.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
