PER-265 - Law Enforcement Response Actions in CBRNE Incidents (LERA)

The Law Enforcement Response Actions for CBRNE Incidents course is an one-day training course providing hands-on training in surveying and monitoring, decontamination and triage procedures, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and scene survey and safety.

Course Objectives:
  • Use PPE Level C
  • Perform decontamination procedures
  • Use surveying and monitoring equipment to detect residual contamination following decontaminating procedures
  • Conduct simple triage in a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI)
  • Identify scene survey and safety procedures

Prerequisites & Other Information:
To attend this course, participants must have previously completed awareness training and the WMD Law Enforcement Protective Measures (LEPM) Course offered through the Center for Domestic Preparedness.
