Law Enforcement Protective Measures (LEPM) for CBRNE Incidents (Train-the-Trainer)
The Law Enforcement Protective Measures for CBRNE Incidents, Train-the-Trainer course is a two-day training course providing seminars in the terrorist threat and indicators of terrorist activity, targets of terrorist activity and tactics used by terrorists, prevention and deterrence techniques, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, or Explosive (CBRNE) hazards, protective measures, appropriate response actions, and the Incident Command System (ICS). Within each module of instruction, the responder is provided teaching techniques.
- Describe the terrorist threat and indicators of suspicious activities
- Identify potential terrorist targets
- Identify the techniques and activities that aid in the prevention of terrorist activities
- Identify CBRNE hazards
- Implement the ICS
- Implement approporiate response actions

Prerequisites & Other Information:
To be eligible to attend the LEPM TtT course, candidates must:
- Be currently serving in a supervisory position with a law enforcement agency or department.
- Be a certified/authorized trainer within a law enforcement agency or department.
No tuition is charged.
Visit https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid/ to register for or retrieve your FEMA SID number. Once you have your FEMA SID continue on to step 2.
If this is your first time attending a CDP training course please log on to the CDP’s Training Administration System (CTAS) (link below) using your FEMA SID (above) account login credentials and fill in all required fields.

State, local and tribal students should complete the Training Course Application (PDF) and Medical Screening Form (PDF), which will be uploaded to www.preparingtexas.org (Pending File). Federal, international and private sector students should read the Private, Federal, & International Sector Training page.
The application will be processd through the State Coorinator and forwarded to CDP for processing (Pending Faxed).
The State Coordinator will review the application and forward it to the CDP for scheduling.
