Course Description

G-620 - Texas Disaster Recovery Course

This course introduces the basic policies, concepts, and procedures of recovery. The course addresses the various federal and state assistance programs, to include individual assistance, public assistance, and agricultural disasters assistance. Emphasis is placed on the coordination of damage assessment, preparing documentation, and recovery procedures.

Target Audience: State or local emergency management personnel and other local officials who have been or may be assigned responsibilities for disaster recovery activities.

Individuals can register below for class deliveries offered in Austin. A jurisdiction may request that it be conducted locally by coordinating verbally in advance with the appropriate RLO and then submit a written request to TDEM via the form here.
