Infrastructure Damage Assessment
To prepare communities for infrastructure assessment before a disaster occurs. Students will learn how to set up assessment teams, identify disaster response costs and losses to infrastructure after a disaster. Designed for local governments and state employees who may have operational roles and responsibilities in a disaster environment. NOTE: When this course and the G627 Residential course are offered together, students should not register for both as there is a great deal of repetition. When an individual will be doing both residential and infrastructure damage assessment, he or she should sign up for the G608 Disaster Recovery workshop as this course will provide tools to perform both types of assessments.
