Course Description

PER-320 - Personal Protective Measures for Biological Events

This new course will provide students with the ability to identify biological threats, protect themselves, operate, and perform essential protective measures in a hazardous biological environment. The course is intended to be delivered locally to agencies who request this training.

Once the pilot-delivery is concluded and any course modifications are complete, the CDP will begin mobile deliveries of this course across the Nation starting the week of October 27, 2014. Please identify any local jurisdictions, hospitals, or agencies desiring this training and submit your training request(s) to

Prerequisites & Other Information:
This is an Indirect-Delivery through the Center for Domestic Preparedness.  All students will need to ensure that they are registered through CTAS and that they have with them their FEMA SID when coming to class:

(Obtain FEMA SID Number)
•You will need a FEMA Student Identification (SID) number to apply for CDP training.
•Visit the FEMA Student Identification website to register for or retrieve your FEMA SID number. Once you have your FEMA SID continue on to step 2.

No tuition is charged.
