However, familiarity with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the Incident Command System (ICS) via completion of study courses IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, and IS-800 (or equivalents) is recommended

Other Information
Class will run from 8am to 5pm each day and will need a roster showing at least 30 pre-registered no later than 2 weeks prior to class start.

Requirements
FEMA/SIDNumber - Students must register and bring a copy of their SID number to class. Register online: www.cdp.dhs.gov/femasid  

This is a 16 hour class with these credited Continuing Education hours by these agencies.   

  •          IACET - 1.6 CEUs
  •          AAFP – 15.0 hours (American Academy of Family Physicians)
  •          ENA - 15.5 hours (Emergency Nurse’s Association)
  •          TX-DSHS-EMS 10.0 hours
